For years the neighbors of Duke Ellington School of the Arts allowed their dogs to shit (yes I said it) on the school’s lawn. The student’s of Ellington could not step in the grass for fear of soiling their fresh gear. Not only is it disrespectful but it says a little something about how the neighbors look at the youth of this institution. Would they have done the same on the lawn of Visitation just down the street? Well now there is a statement! Mr. Ellington himself says NO PETS!
